KA WHAWHAI TONU MATOU AKE AKE AKE: Film evening to raise funds for Ngawha

Film producer Tauni Ngatai-Sinclair will be present to have a
question and answer session about the 1998 film 'Globalisation
and Maori' that is to be screened on Monday the 17th in
Wellington.
Money raised from the film-night is to be donated to the
Ngawha noho (occupation).

The police arrested 5 members of the Ngawha occupation on the
12th of February,
several arrests were made in
January
but the occupation continues.

Vocal opposition from
other quarters
are questioning the increasingly
expensive prison.
